#1 Merge Survivor: Zombie
Merge Survivor: Zombie! | Spatial
So, for someone who's a huge fan of games like vampire survivors, I'd say probably this will be the best pick for you.
The way your attack impacts zombie(probably the SFX), and all the coins assembling towards you at the end of the wave is satisfying, and the way you upgrade the equipments are really fun to try out. You'd have to upgrade the same items with the same level, and that method actually motivates me to take a chance for the random items.
Upgrade yourself and you will be rewarded with various ways of going through the zombie waves and all the satisfying and explosive visuals.
So to briefly talk about the weapons, I'll just say the hammer is not the one you'd want to go for. The way the hammer work is, it will spawn in the direction you're currently heading at, so that means if I we're to attack with a hammer, you'd have to face towards the zombie, and I take damage most of the times I do this.
#2 Kasama The Awakening
Kasama The Awakening (spatial.io)
Overall, the character design, the magical environment and the lights surrounding works really well on this game.
The full runthrough of the game itself is pretty short, but seems like they're updating a sequel of this game and I'm expecting to play that one too.
One of the part that I mostly remembered is in chapter 2 when the player was paralyzed and you're controlling the light and finding Morpheo. The way that the light trail indicates where I should proceed feels good for me.
One thing to nitpick for this game is, for someone who is familiarized with interacting with an 'F' key, setting the interaction to the 'E' key is a little bit odd to me.
#3 Neon Ghost
Visuals are phenomenal, actions are satisfying to play with, and I like the overall cyberpunk esc visuals that this game is aiming for.
Mostly this game will require you to attack with mouse controls(both left and right), but there's also options of the 'Q' and 'E' key to attack too, so for those who's not really familiar with mouse controls, thats good news.
Graphics are great, like I said, the overall cyberpunk esc visuals that this game is aiming for is well implemented with vivid lightings, and distinct designs of weapons, npc characters, enemies, and even the GUI screen.
The quest itself is more of "Defeat certain amount of enemies", or "Grab certain amount of a specific item" but the way the game progresses is satisfying, such as level up as reward and granting access to more spaces to explore.
Some of the issues i find within this game is,
Enemy respawn rate could be a bit too slow(probably it could be just a bug that happened to me), so the flow of the quests, such as defeating enemies and collecting a certain items could be interrupted and slowed down at some point.
Attack range feels rather shallow, so I realize I tend to miss out some attacks when I thought this should give an enemies some damage.
This could be a nitpick, but I wish I could have some avatar outfit options that could fit well with the theme of the game. Going through the game with a really basic spatial avatar feels... odd.
Honorable mention : Punch Hero
Punch Hero 🕹️ Play this Clicker Game on Spatial
A simple, but a whacky game that's all about punching a wall and getting collectables to unlock the next zone.
It's a fun game, but unless you get a reward(daily or spin) you'd have to put some time to train your punches, as you progress the game, you will face more harder walls to break through.
